Short Summary: Kady isn't normal.
Would you call flying normal? I hope not, unless you're Peter Pan of course.
But this isn't some cheesy story about Peter Pan, Neverland, and Tinkerbell.
This is a story about how people get thrown into something they don't want to do. But apparently, it's fate reaching out to them, forcing them to do so.
So when Kady discovers five other people who have powers near hers, she decides to stick close.
But slowly, those friends of hers begin to disappear, and she finds herself kidnapped as well.
When she wakes up, her missing friends are all there, and the rest begin to come into the room also.
Later they discover that their powers have been taken up the step, full superpowers. And they realize that they're here on earth, to save the world. ((had to put that there, because I haven't yet had a sypnosis put in the thingy.))
FYRE: Yes it's spelled with a Y!! And to find out why, ur just going to have to read it. Right now, i'm going to try and get my English Teacher to read it, and see if he thinks it's publishing material, but I also want you guys to read it too, and tell me if U think it's good enough that people will actually read it and like it. because I'm going to try and SEND it to a publisher by March, so I need people to read it and review. I'd absolutely love u guys to death if you did.

Summary: it's about this girl Lynella, with this power that no one seems to know about. But when her family betrays her, and loses her favorite person in the world, her life slowly crumbles as she travels to save, and to create a new life.
((btw: if any of u have a better summary for it, please tell me. That is about the only thing I'm not good at in writing. I absolutely despise summaries.))
Sparx: Alright, if you've read Fyre, absolutely loved it, and want to find out what's next, here's the sequal. But I'm still writing it, and Nanowrimo got in the way, so Black Shadows was finished first. But Sparx I really love, because this is the book I had in mind long before Fyre. Fyre was an afterthought, because I wanted my readers to know a bit more about Lynella, and that kind of thing. But Sparx, is basically the beginning of the story, where all the action gets started, you learn more about the Dreamers, you discover who the "mysterious Dreamer" is, and it's set nearly in present day. So, I recommend that you read Fyre first just so you can get some insight as to what happens in this book, but you can read it all the same, and like it, I guess. Soo, I will soon get working on it again, and will be adding more chapters.

"13 to Life" is a wip that was leading the TextNovel competition until just days ago when a new competitor joined. It was started on Nov. 24 and written interactively (I posted polls for public opinion to help guide the action and build character details--even created a playlist related to a particular scene). It's been a TON of fun (and challenging as I post at least a new section every day--often two). Each section is designed for readers with limited time--short, with hooks and hangs.
I'd love it if you all got to stop by and read it, vote (hopefully thumbs up) and maybe give me a review (to vote and review, though, you have to actually make a free account--but it's easy, really).
Anyhow, I invite you all to stop by and check out my work (and maybe the accompanying interactive blog). The contest ends Dec. 31 and I wouldn't mind recapturing the popular vote. ;-)

We had to pick four unconnected moments in time to express a story. I've expanded and connected these moments, so now it almost reads like the usual type of story.
It's about four poor fishermen that try to escape their situation and end up meeting a brutal natural disaster.
I would love to have comments on how to expand it further or whether it would be better as the original unconnected fragments.
