Yes I read it in 2000. I rated it a 4/5 and my comment is that I would recommend this book.

(I read it as well, and I couldn't it! I'm sorry, but was one of the worst books I've ever read, and the movie was exactly like the book and just as bad. Out of everything everyone in that book went through, and in the end she gives up the house anyway - after all that?! Nope, not impressed - goes to show how some have different opinions - just the way the cookie crumbles.)
