ok - so who would be a Minnie? Would you serve poo pie and stand up for yourself risking losing your job every time or would you be an Aibeleen? Not standing up for yourself or speaking up about the mistreatment of the child you are looking after for fear of losing your job.

I would love to think that I would be a Minnie,
but I am usually one to keep the peace. So I guess I must be an Aibeleen :)

I think in general I would be a Minnie as I'm not known for keeping quiet if I think something is unfair, whether it's to me or someone else.
I still wouldn't give someone poo pie though!

I think I'm more of an Aibileen - she tried to make a difference one child at a time and not only contributed to the book but asked others to take part. I think what Minnie did was clever but she admitted herself that she sassed too much.

I agree Kirsty, I don't think Aibileen was keeping quiet, I think she was trying to change things quietly, but in a very effective way.
