I don't want to cause any controversy before I start this. I don't understahnd why some people online come after me for liking Selena Gomez or some of new Disney. I was on Disney fan site, and I mentioned I love the Selena Gomez songs on it. Some user comments were really cruel. I'm not forcing THEM to like Selena, they were just mean to my opinion. They said she was ugly and talentless.

I don't see anything wrong with me liking the classic Disney with some of the new. I think Selena is really beautiful and talented.

Agreed. Everyone has opinions, it's just that some people on the internet know that they're guarded behind their computer so they verbally attack people. In their mind, their opinion is always right. Just try to ignore them! Something's probably going on with them that they feel the need to get at you for voicing your opinion.

Some people are just ignorant they can only be right. Don't listen to the haters! If you like Selena Gomez don't let them stop you!!!

I am so with you Disney, people are just cruel sometimes and hide behind their screen names. There are a lot of bullies in this world, try not to let them get to you.

I received one particularly nasty review on my book (my only 1 star review) and it was just mean and spiteful, although I had done nothing to deserve it except spend hundreds of hours writing and publishing my first novel. I was hurt by it at first, but now I just feel bad for the person that wrote it. Clearly they need to be mean to other people to feel good about themself...and that is just sad. The same goes for those people that said mean things to you.

I have never cared what people say about me. I will be who I am and no one else. I am not here to please anyone so if people don't like me then oh well i will not try to change their minds.
And people can be cruel but letting what they say get to you only gives them power. Sometimes I do say something back because I like standing up for myself or someone else. I am against bullying (:

You know I've seen some really cruel reviews. i get that not everyone will be satisfied with every book but there is no reason to say such horrible things. If people are going to write a review then they should be respectful about it.

I don't get when people hate something and always talk crap about it. if you don't like it then why give it so much attention and feel the need to constantly say negative things?

Yeah, it's just your opinion, like you said it's not like your forcing them to like her. I've seen comments like that on youtube and facebook. Things like on a youtube video I watched some ignorant moron put "u r ugly talentles retards! get off youtube and stop waistin ur time makin stupid videos!" Then on Facebook my friend had been in a play that I thought had been an AMAZING production of The Wizard of OZ and some jerk in our class said that it was stupid waist of time and that she did terrible and so on and I got mad at them and the started making fun of me and my friend and some popular girl started saying that I had a crush on the jerk guy (which i dont) and I was so mad and embarrassed so I deleted my facebook account. True story.
Sorry, I go off on a rant sometimes. Anyway, the point is some morons will waist their time just to put others down and seem funny.

Agreed. I may not be that crazy about Harry Potter but I don't put my cousin and sister down for liking it.

People need to accept others for who they are not who they want them to be, I mean I can be totally bipolar with what I wear like Ill get all nice and stuff and spend hours on make up and lots of people compliment me, but the person who really likes you for you will tell you look beautiful... and mean it... when your wear sweat pants and look like you just rolled out of bed.

You aren't.. you're just standing up for what you believe in. A bully and a believer is two different things.

My senior year in high school, a kid in my class, Kyle, would always say things to me because I liked Twilight. I always just laughed because he tried to get me a reaction out of me but really all the things he said never bothered me. I would always say something back but i was never rude or mean like he was.

I LOVE CLASSIC DISNEY!! I don't watch the Disney Channel, but I'll watch any old Disney movie, and of course, I love Pixar too :)

I don't like some shows on the Disney Channel, but I do like some. let's see I like Wizards, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Good Luck Charlie, Phil of the Future, Even Steven, and others...

The only show I used to watch on Disney channel was So Random. I prefer Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network :D

I love Phineas and Ferb, I am also a fan of the new show Gravity Falls. But, some of the shows are predictable and somewhat boring. Though, I am a fan of Good Luck Charlie, and loved the recent episodes for the birth of the new baby.

As for liking Selena Gomez, love some of her music, just like (shhhhhhhhh!) I like some of Justin Beiber's songs. But, it is my taste in music and no one elses, let them attempt to put me down for it, it is only their own personal issues that they are trying to mask by making ME feel miserable for liking something.

Say what you will about Selena Gomez but calling her ugly just means you're jealous and spiteful. There's no way you can say that girl is ugly.

Some Disney fans are crazy anyways. You say you like any of the newer Disney Channel shows, and then they go on a rant about 'new Disney' and say they like 'old Disney' but then they mention liking Lizzie Mcguire and I'm just like... isn't that 'new Disney'? The only difference is you watched that show when you were the target age group and when you watch it now its a nostalgia thing and the newer stuff it's the same but because you're now out of the target group it doesn't ignite the same feelings.

I just like all Disney it can do no wrong in my opinion lol Plus they own Pixar which is just pure genius

But yeah, some people are crazy, try to learn not to let it get to you (takes some practice but it can be done), or just to ignore those people/sites when they do :)
