Most publisher give you the option...but send your writing first. Alot of what I've read abotu publishing mention nogt priding your work enough to have your name on it.

You need to send works to a publisher under your given name so they know who to write the check to.

Your last name ISN'T hard to pronounce. People are just lazy and don't pay attention when they read names. I mean, you can literally sound your last name out, Mckenzie.

I think if I do (somehow) get published I would prefer using a pen name. I wouldn't want people at work to know that I've written anything, especially if I decide to use them for inspiration. It'll be weird, ehehehe

My last name isn't hard to pronounce it just sounds weird with my elaborate first name.

I can't think of a pen name....otherwise I would use one maybe something like Liza Martin or Mina Rose :)
