He may be slightly controversial but I am fond of his books. A great writer. Influential in terms of writing style as well as very interesting. Worth talking about.

John | 41 comments N's will to power thesis is the epitome of a fascist nihilistic world, not consistent with evolutionary theory, but more with the Marxist view of revolution- preceded by a dictatorship of the proletariat with nothing to lose but their chains and nothing to gain but more chains of a new master- Stalin, Mao, etc.

John | 41 comments Note I am not asserting that N himself thought in those terms, but others like Hitler did aided by N's sister! Actually a Nazi party- a herd phenomenon,would have appalled N. And what a display of weakness that you have to eliminate your rival in order to prove your own superiority.
