Would be cool to have any further discussion after reading the article, and /or reading the alternate endings in the book.....

That last line is so affecting, it's very interesting to see some of the alternate endings. They're a bit more blunt if you ask me and I'm glad he went with the original.

Christine Whitehead (tellme) | 21 comments It is always interesting to see drafts and what Hem ended up using. Apparently he wrote the last sentence of The Sun Also Rises thirty ways. "Isn't it pretty to think so?" I like seeing the drafts.
