I found the FMC to be annoying for much of the first half, but towards the end I liked her more, and the story was enjoyable. Solid 3.5"

Starting now. I hate soccer and I see the ratings are low. Also don't like the cover dude but I'm heading in.
11% I'm invested so far. I'm picturing Nick Galtazine with a soccer body. I like her. The brother is not all that believable. The excuse to leave is flimsy.

75% okay, this is getting long but I love it. Loved the fist fights. I can totally see soccer players resorting to childish fighting.
90% Okay I see why the reviews say it was too long, but I also see how we get super deep into each character's arc. Deep immersion and lingering. The truth is readers mostly like quick third acts but this is a very long drawn out third act. Still, I don't hate it. I just skimmed and the parts I read I liked. I wish his dad would've answered a little differently but it was realistic."
