I have mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, I really enjoy a lot of the themes, such as claiming your own identity and power, and I even like the plot as a concept. However, I did not enjoy this book. I felt as if a lot of big moments were glossed over and ideas not given the development they needed. I couldn’t feel any of the emotions coming from the characters, not even anger, which is the main motivation of the protagonist.
