The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
"Atrocious, disconnected, rambling, shallow re-tellings of Buffett, Munger, Klarman etc.

Absolute waste of money and time."

The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
"I find it very surprising that a book called the Psychology of Money doesn't use at all studies or at least talk a little bit about behavioral economics. Instead you are met with obvious observation.
And the amount of questionable and obvious ideas overcome the amount of interesting and surprising information. So if you have a basic knowledge about personal finance and the economy I would highly recommend you to not bother with this one.
Reading Dan Ariely or Daniel Kahneman seems a much better use of your and my time."

The story telling is easy to visual the scenes, some of the parts really detailed and painfully lively that I could feel Evelyn’s emotions. But Evelyn tone and Monique’s is somehow similar - I could know it was written from the author of this book - not the actual character is telling us the story through their vision.
The plot twists were there, but it not that strong. They were a so-so.
The journey of Evelyn from extreme poverty to on top of the world financially, the journey she climbed up in her career, her professional improvement throughout her years did not properly portrayed at all - they were important details that heavily affected the way the character think and act. They were poorly executed- but maybe it was me who’s expected a lot in those details.
All the husbands seem kinda bland to me - nothing mesmerized except Don and Harry. I totally forgot about Rex - his story was the most blurry.
I could feel the vibrant story telling when it was Celia part - that’s what I like about this. Not that bad to bring up LGBTQ+ recognition slowly and peacefully in a book by naming it in a way that would mostly attract straight people. ]]>
