I think that this was a good book, though it was a very long listen as an audiobook. It tells a really great account of the first formalized and trained paramedics in Pittsburgh, PA - Freedom House. What I was hoping to get out of this was a lot of history about Freedom House itself, which was provided, however equally time filling was the personal biography of each important individual with Freedom House.
