probably 3.5 but i’ve decided not to round up this time. i’m at once underwhelmed and overwhelmed- it felt like a long prologue ? like i’m beyond excited to dig into the next book in the series even though i didn’t exactly love this first one. the characters are doing all the heavy lifting, i need more of them; plot be damned.
