I will read anything John Green writes, but I think I like his nonfiction more than the fiction, honestly. While this isn't a deep dive into tuberculosis (it covers way too much ground to truly dive deep into any one thing), it is a great overview of one of the most vicious diseases in human history that is still killing way too many people. Be prepared to put it down with a bitter aftertaste about the dystopian capitalistic hellscape we live in, and expect rage against our corporate overlords. (I listened to the Audible version, which Green reads himself. Got this as a Kindle freebie with the Amazon First Reads program. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did- it was quite well-written and I liked the mystery very much.
