Ten Nights To Love by Isis Melantha was like being caught in a storm you don't want to escape. Twists, turns, chaos, heartbreak �� and somehow, hope. I thought I was walking into a simple love story; what I got was an emotional rollercoaster strapped to a hurricane.

Rosa stole my heart from page one. Life didn’t hand her roses �� it handed her thorns. But she rises, scars and all, growing into someone fierce, resilient, and impossible not to root for. Watching her strength unfold made me want to cheer and cry at the same time.

And Enrique... oh boy. Let’s not dress this up with ribbons �� he’s complicated. He’s the kind of man who loves hard, but hurts harder, leaving wounds he doesn’t always know how to heal. Their marriage wasn’t a love story out of fairy tales. It was a battlefield, with love bleeding somewhere in between.

The story weaves between past and present, between innocence and betrayal, and it’s messy in the way real love often is. There’s pain. There’s guilt. There’s an unbearable tenderness buried under all the mistakes.

What hit hardest was the way memories �� lost and found �� shaped everything. How healing isn’t clean or easy. How sometimes the person you love the most is the one you have to survive before you can ever build something real.

The writing? Raw, emotional, a little chaotic at times �� just like the characters. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It kept me glued, flipping pages like my life depended on it.

So, Replay �� let’s talk about the ache, the angst, and the absolutely undeniable love between Nate and Berkley. They’re clearly still in love with each other, but he walked away. The official excuse? Long distance. But let’s be real—there’s more to it. Something deeper, more personal, and honestly, a bit selfless on Nate's part.

Berkley, though? She's definitely not over him. But she’s pretending she is—going through the motions, now dating Carter. And Carter? He's the human version of a distraction. A good guy, sure, but you can tell from the start that he’s not the guy. He’s her escape hatch, not her happy ending.

Nate knows it too. He flat-out says she’s settling. And he’s not wrong.

From the very beginning, the pull between Nate and Berkley is magnetic. That kind of connection you don’t just shake off. And while I don’t want to spoil too much, let’s just say the emotional tension is chef’s kiss. The book hits all the right beats—funny, sexy, heartfelt—and the best part? No third-act breakup. No unnecessary drama just for the sake of it. It’s quick, it’s sweet, it’s got emotional depth, and it wraps up in the most satisfying way.

And there’s this one line—so quietly powerful—that stuck with me. During their time apart, Nate had it tattooed or engraved somewhere, like a locket or maybe his skin itself was the diary. It said:

It’s bizarre and beautiful and says everything he couldn’t bring himself to say out loud.

If he had just said it—if he’d opened up instead of walking away with all his unspoken love—they might not have lost two whole years. But then again, that’s the thing about second chances. When they finally come around, they make all the waiting feel worth it.

In short: Replay is a wholesome, swoony, emotionally fulfilling ride. Totally worth the read.

This book gave me everything I wanted from the sequel and then slapped me with a cliffhanger like a sadist in love.

Let’s start with Rage—he owns this book. The obsessive kind of love that borders on dangerous, the silent desperation, the way he tries to give Celia not just his loyalty but a literal future (yes, the breeding arc had me gasping)—and yet, she pushes him away over and over. I get that she’s scared, I do, but watching him try and fail to get her to see him nearly broke me. Rage is violence wrapped in heartbreak, and I was here for all of it.

Thanos went from broody mystery to full-throttle desire, and wow, it added heat and unexpected emotional depth. I wasn’t prepared for how much he’d crave Celia, but once it hit, it hit. Ruin’s... well, he’s Ruin. Still intense, still questionable (the knife handle scene, I mean... okay), but clearly devoted.

What I loved most? The emotional tension. This book isn’t just about dark romance—it’s about obsession, broken people trying to belong to someone, and the fear that maybe love comes with blood on its hands. Celia’s conflict made me want to shake her sometimes, but I get it. Kind of.

Overall: darker, hotter, and more emotionally charged than book one. Easily my favorite of the series so far.
