I love how Courtney twisted this erotica concept to fit her ways! This story was beautiful, not missing any detail and full of her signature spiciness and sweetness.

I’m a VERY huge fan of taboo, so seeing there would be a stepdad/stepson relationship in this trio made me rrrruuuunnnn to sign up�� and the fact that there would also be an employer/employee relationship made me fly.

Finn and Knox already being in a relationship made this whole hurt/comfort thing with Ryder pop and the open communication rule between them was really the cherry on top. It was so sexy and so perfect, their dynamic and chemistry was so magnetic and the nicknames gave their intimacy a touch of preciousness that I really appreciated.

Sometimes I think it can be difficult to write outside of the standard couple, but Courtney made it stunningly well and gave all of them an equal platform to stand on without anyone shadowing the other. This is a new author debut and the story was niiiiceee! I always love a devil themed book, I’m sorry, I’m biased 🤷🏼‍♀��

We get a weird slave-master relationship (kinda consensual but also kinda not, you need to read this to understand🫠) between the actual Devil and officer Nick.

The story is pure erotica, with a BDSM theme, forced servitude, bondage�� and lots of other kinks, I would be writing forever😬 jumping in and out of the underworld also is kinda nice lol but it also mixes with Nick’s personal life and work.. and all of this can be seen as two worlds mixed with each other.

There’s lots of jumps in the story that are fast paced and interesting but also very confusing at times, the 3rd person pov was quite problematic for me to follow sometimes, but that’s literally just personal preference..

Overall this book was different and if hard kinks in books is not your jam, then this one is not for you�� but if it is? Oooooh you’re gonna have fun exploring!

This story blew my freaking mind. I feel like this book needs 500 more pages. I love how Malak is so interesting and intriguing, hoe he never spills even the littlest detail, how he keeps everything vague and how he lets Adam do his own thing while moving him like a puppeteer behind the scenes��

Bodies are starting to surface, first simple people, then more and more complicated ones. But who’s behind the crime? Could it be someone with a deal?
The story starts with a bang�� and the bang never ends! Twists and turns in every nook and cranny, it keeps you awake and glued to the pages.

Also.. the end? You never see that coming, that for sure.

If you’re looking for a new masterpiece, well�� here it is. Also, August and everything she writes will definitely be up your alley.

Book four of the Doormen of the Upper East Side is here and we FINALLY get to uncover Silas�� story, cause we’ve been teased throughout the whole series and I swear I’ve been sweating!
Graham is a whole whirlwind of emotions, he’s a Republican senatorial candidate who’s been gay his whole life but basically did not have the guts to come out. When he sets up a date with sëx worker (Silas) on the day before his wedding, he wasn’t ready to turn his life around and find that they have the the most blinding chemistry💥

Silas, on the other hand, definitely wasn’t prepared to find Graham some time later, living in the building he also workes as a doorman in.

These two start one of the most up-and-down relationship I have ever seen, full of undeniable love and passion but also secrets and sadness. Their characters clash but also burn with each other so hard sometimes, you find yourself holding your breath and falling in love over and over.
We get to know Silas�� struggles and overall grey feelings and we get to know a stunningly beautiful puppy Graham that will have you melting and melting and melting again🥵🫠

I’m not from the US and admittedly I don’t really follow politics here nor there, but this time it didn’t feel necessary to understand anything but the basics and the politics of it didn’t seem like it took over the story�� even though it’s based on that.

Overall I’m in love and this is another masterpiece I’m very proud of having the pleasure of having read early.
