It centers around Clara who was adopted and trying to figure out who she is and where she fits in. The king finds out she is special and sends 2 men to retrieve her. Clara is witty, fiesty, foul mouthed and awesome!!! This book kept me guessing, crying, laughing and in shock. The ending is a major cliffhanger. I can't wait for book 2!!! Perfect for those who loved series such throne of glass and trial of the sun queen."
