"This book was excellent. I'm not usually much for science fiction, but this was exceptional! I loved the way Le Guin was able to give me information about the planets and cultures and politics within this book without letting the story get stale. The world-building and plot progressed in perfect synchronization.
This book had a lot of important things to say about revolution (and revolutions within that revolution). The themes of exploration and return were especially important to me.
There were lots of passages in this book that were simply delicious. Really just stunning and beautiful words.
I loved both the form and function of this novel (the means and the end?) and look forward to reading more by Le Guin as they cross my path!"
