I can’t believe I had this on my shelf for so long without reading it. It reminds me of like a really regal dating show in this weird way but I enjoyed it and gobbled it up from the very beginning; definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series 😍
Has anyone read the whole series? What are your thoughts? I know I’m behind times hehe 🤭

I just didn’t like the plot or the tropes in this story, unfortunately 😞 I had higher hopes for this one and even though there were very cute parts which is why I gave it two stars, there just wasn’t enough “muchness�� for me 😔

This book really surprised me. I did not see the plot twist coming at all! It was tucked away in there really nicely and I was truly shook when the truth was discovered.
I liked the main female characters point of view however she seemed a little naive at the beginning knowing her background of being in prison, etc., however then towards the end she triumphs in a way that surprised me even more. It was a little bit of a rollercoaster halfway through and after that I ran towards the end of the book because I just wanted to figure out what happened!

The ending, too!!!! Omg 😱 crazy 🤪

I am a fan of Leigh Bardugo but after reading the Ninth House I was a little nervous about picking up another novel from her that wasn’t related to the Grisha-Verse.
However, this one is unique and beautiful and a universe that I was surprised to actually really enjoy. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of Bardugo or not.
