Every piece is at least worth a read, and many are thrilling. William Rankin's excerpt from The Man Who Rode the Thunder in particular has really stuck with me. I did like that this was tonally different from everything else Marvel has done with the Alien franchise so far. Also kind of fun to see Burke as a bumbling stooge with a heart of gold rather than the vindictive corporate asshole he is in the film. Though he gets much better later, Daniel Warren Johnson's art is good and a perfect fit for what this book is trying to be. The story is pretty stupid and really underdeveloped, with several of the few actual plot points never going anywhere. ]]>
