Farah and Rohan have more in common than they initially realize, when they start out as enemies - or so they think. 4.5 stars. Very enjoyable read in the latest Sadie Sexton series. Each of the books can be read as a standalone, but reading the series definitely is more enjoyable! this story starts out with the day before the wedding of Raj and Misty Dawn. However, mystery and murder derails the couple's honeymoon. Sadie does an excellent job of sleuthing to determine who really committed the murders. the Nightshade God completes the Nightshade Crows Trilogy. This book picks up where the Hemlock Queen left off. The story may seem a bit slow, but it's because of how all of the loose ends are being nicely wrapped up. There were unexpected alliances as well as the prevailing question of how the situation with the gods was going to be resolved. Loved, loved loved this book!! Snarky main female character, touch her and die, berserkers, fabulous one liners - finished this book in 2 days. Clover, seemingly just a human, has no idea what is going on when she is kidnapped and delivered to Viktor to make him turn evil. However not all is as it seems, and Clover seems to figure that out before anyone else. This amazing story is Merrill and Katla's story. Katla was introduced in the Dragon Kings series in Dragon Born, which is another exceptional story in this series. Dragon Marked can be read as standalone, but to really comprehend the depth of Katla's backstory, I would highly recommend also reading Dragon Born. this love story between the King of Orange dragons and Katla, who is more than she originally seemed in Dragon Born, was beautiful, sad and joyous at the same time. Questions about "the entity" are answered and new ones arise. These little hints dropped in the story guaranteed I'll be reading the next book. Highly recommend this unique story! ]]>
