"This was such a fun read! I loved seeing Scarlett overcome her trauma surrounding previous diving injuries. She absolutely flourished as this book went on. Lukas was the kind of dry, but straightforward hero I really like. Their chemistry was so seamless that I couldn’t put the book down because it felt natural to keep watching them interact. The way Lukas supported Scarlett was adorable, but steadfast.

Now I’m totally knocking a star because Pen was ew and I personally felt like there was no redeeming her character. On top of that, we all knew the drama with her was coming but it just felt a little over the top once it did happen. Scarlett and Lukas entertained her shenanigans for too long. Like girl be for real, what did you expect? HE DON’T WANT YOU NO MO. I’m sorry but ain’t no way I’d be friends with Pen after all that. Girl BYE.
