"I really enjoyed this book. This book was low romance, high politics, which was enjoyable. I also enjoyed how religion was made in this story, and how that tied into the plot felt worthwhile and interesting.

The characters are relatable in some ways, and I’m invested in their stories. Even some of the side characters had me rooting for their happiness.

Overall, really excited to see how this series evolves. "

"5 stars 🌟 the political intrigue was everything I wanted in a YA fantasy, I'm definitely reading the next book. There's a perfect mix of lovable characters, humor and suspense. I hope the main characters don't spend too much time apart I love their interactions when they're together.
Emilia is smart, strong, cunning, everything I love in a fantasy fmc.. She reminds me of Jude my beloved. While I have no idea who the love interest is, I really hope it's Thessian I'm rooting for him."

With secrets revealed and plots advanced. There’s so little I feel like I can share about this book that won’t give away all the best parts. To be fair, they’re all the best parts. What I will say is, be prepared to be gobsmacked by the ending. It’s nothing I was expecting, and it’s left me more desperate than ever to find out what’s going to happen next.
