I listened to this as an audio book then bought a paper copy so I could highlight and share Friedman's ideas. I shelved this in the Christian catergory even though Friedman is Jewish because he writes from a Biblical perspective even though we don't always agree on doctrine or theology. I have been looking forward to this book for some time now. John Green is such a unique writer and even though I find myself disagreeing with him often I still appreciate his writing style and his way of creating and telling the stories of compelling characters. Here he tells the story of Tuberculosis, which still kills millions of people, by humanizing a few of those people and telling their stories. This kept me reading but I wouldn't say I couldn't put it down until the very end. It was thought provoking but not like the other book I read from McAllister. I'm glad I picked it as my BOTM read and would pass it along to anyone who likes a good thriller. ]]>
