This one was a comfort read! The stories were so nostalgic, like watching a Hallmark movie without the sexy scenes! Lots of tropes to choose from: enemies to lovers, brothers best friends, second chance, romance, secret romance, fake dating, and so on! A 3.5. It was a fun read. I loved the setting and enjoyed Sahara’s adventures and her time travel. I got lost somewhere when Jack was introduced. Since this was a series, I think the author was building his character for the next books. I loved it. It was light-hearted, romantic, sweet, steamy, and a bit sad. If you like small-town second-chance romances, this one’s for you. I was immediately drawn to the characters. They seemed real like they were your friends from back home. There was definitely character development. A lot of angst. Very emotional and sometimes heavy since it deals with grief. A 4.5, because each story touched my heart and made it flutter.

Loved this wonderful book anthology! It was a collection of love stories from Filipino-American authors and I enjoyed every minute of it! Each story was a standalone but inter-connected. It was light, romantic and have an HEA. Each author showcased their own genres and tropes. I have followed each and every author! Love you all! I'm now a fan.
