There are so many good ideas in this short book and I really enjoyed my short tour through its postapocalyptic world. However, perhaps too many things remain only half- or not at all explained. At times, reading it was a bit tedious and I was not sure what the hell is the author talking about, especially all that Mercerism stuff. It may be that I just didn't get it, but the way the book was written certainly wasn't helpful. I'd probably give it a 3.5, if I could. ]]>
