40% into the book I was filled with questions. Not about the story, but about the book

I am the huge fan of the The Expanse and believe it is arguably the best sci-fi show ever made. I remembered the first season being a bit slow, but the book was just dragggggging

Multiple googlings of "Is the show better than the book" gave me mixed responses from the wise internet fraternity, but no clear answer.

Book Holden seemed so annoying, and Book Amos was just so... one-dimensional?

Thankfully I carried on, and here we are. I realised why I had loved the ending of the first season of the show so much.

And the book characters have genuinely nice arcs to add to the fantastic tale.
