Although Dinosaur Therapy is the first book in James Stewart’s Dinosaur comic series, I accidentally read Dinosaur Philosophy first and loved it—so I had to circle back. Once again, the humour hit hard, often dark, but always relatable. One of my favourites:

dinosaur (i) : how's your day?��
dinosaur (ii) : it's bad, but they're mostly bad so in relative terms it's just average.��
dinosaur (i) : weird answer. are you okay?

dinosaur (ii) : in absolute or relative terms?

The humour kept me laughing out loud, like this gem:

doc dinosaur: stop comparing yourself to others.
dinosaur: i try.
dinosaur: but then i end up comparing myself with the me that could have existed if i made better choices.
dinosaur: and that's way worse.

I stumbled upon Dinosaur Philosophy while visiting a bookshop with a couple of friends. I read the whole thing in one standing—and I have no regrets. The humor is funny and relatable, often dark but still hilarious. A perfect example is:

dinosaur: what's wrong with me, doc?
doc dinosaur: many things.
doc dinosaur: but the ultimate cause of all your problems is simple.
doc dinosaur: you're poor.

The humour throughout made me laugh out loud, and even when it got dark, I loved every bit of it. ]]>
