Liam goes to the mountains and ends up with a broken ankle. Enter Mia who agrees to help him out. Their chemistry in close proximity can't be contained. Mia is hurt because Liam hides his real identity. However, she finds the person responsible for stealing from Liam's company. They just have to stay out of trouble long enough to get the bad guy. There is plenty of spice in this story.

This was a great read. I had some difficulties getting into the plot to begin with but then it grabbed me and suddenly I was done with the book. Shephard was a tough nut to crack. He was resistant to the idea of love and a forever partner....until he wasn't. He and Denise had lots in common with an investigatory background. He was also able to rescue her from her bad news ex. Denise and her four legged best friend were drawn into Shephard's orbit. They both found love in the rugged outdoors.
