3.5⭐️ I went into this thinking it would be a rom-com. There is a potential love interest, and I adored the banter between the two - but this isn’t a romance it’s a hilarious contemporary fiction full of rivalry, drama (the fun kind), and twists and turns.

It’s a fun dive into the world of books and the timely topic of AI, all from the perspective of authors at a book convention.

Sofie is the author of a bestselling romantasy series. When a self-published debut author, dubbed “the next Sofie�, admits to using AI, Sofie sets out to stop her.

Let me tell you, things get wild. I was there for every bit of the witty dialogue and the hilarious shenanigans (and trust me, there are a lot).

The writing pulled me in, and honestly, I felt like I was right there in the story, watching everything unfold.

Sofie isn’t perfect, but that’s what made her feel so real! 4.5⭐️ As expected, this one hit me right in the feels. I knew it would be a book I wouldn’t be able to put down…and I was so right. The moment I finished, I wanted to flip back to page one and start again.

I already adored Kinsley from her parents� story, and she so deserved every bit of happiness. It’s hard going into a book knowing a favorite character will face heartbreak, and yes—it hurt. But it was beautifully written. Her grief, her growth, her journey. I cried and grieved with her. But I also smiled, laughed, and swooned. It struck the perfect balance of sweetness, heartache, and hope.

And Shane? Absolute perfection. Patient, kind, and determined. He’s the definition of golden retriever energy. His relationship with Kinsley was slow and steady. Plus, he was the best teen dad…his daughter, Taylor? She was fantastic! Not just a side character, but a meaningful part of the story with her own beautiful connection to Kinsley (bookish friends unite!).

The quiet, meaningful moments, the small gestures that said everything, captured my heart.

Graham is known as a cold, heartless CEO, underneath those layers is a soft, caring heart. His protective side absolutely stole my heart.

The slow burn between them was exactly what I love, an obvious attraction and plenty of smiles, and heart.

This billionaire, marriage of convenience story also had great representation of alopecia and sensory struggles. The characters� challenges and doubts felt authentic.
