Tell Everyone on This Train I Love Them by Maeve Higgins

Ryan’s first review of the year

really liked it
I love Maeve Higgins! This collection reads more like a journalist writing personal essays than a comedian writing comical personal essays--the comedian can't stop making everything a joke and the journalist can't stop making everything a story. This balances those just right.

The title is beautiful and where it comes from breaks my heart.

Quite an entertaining little spy truffle, this. Enjoyed reading it but now I can't watch the new series.

Books are better anyway.
