If you like books where the protagonists finally comes into her own years of being written off by herself and those around her, this is for you. It's a very feelgood novel--and I don't mean that to be derogatory. I absolutely see why so many people enjoyed it, but there wasn't enough conflict, even with the central mystery, for my taste. Character growth can be satisfactory, but too many obstacles were glossed over in the writing. ...more

A pleasant start to a new cozy mystery series. There were a few quirks in the writing that might become pet peeves in later installments or might just be the typical rough spots of a new author/first in the series. I'm optimistically looking forward to more Jane Wunderly adventures. ...more
