The Heart’s Invisible Furies is both
heartbreaking and uplifting. It tells the life story of Cyril from his violent entrance into the world all the way through to a peaceful end. Born in Ireland following the 2nd World War to an unwed mother, he was adopted at 3 days old by an unconventional couple. While his basic needs were always met- his childhood years were lonely- totally lacking in parental affection and peer friendships.
