it was amazing
The reason why Gingered reads so well is primarily due to Ryan’s openness and honesty. There’s a feel-good aura about the book that resonated with me on many levels. Moreover, the anecdotes are relatable and heartwarming, making the book a perfect companion for when you want to read something lighthearted but with depth and meaning. really liked it
I picked up The Swiss Flat because it takes place in Vevey, Switzerland, where I spent three weeks on holiday a while back. Previously, the location was the site for the Booker Prize-winning novel Hotel Du Lac. Having stayed in Vevey, I was curious how such a beautiful place would form a backdrop to a suspenseful mystery thriller.
