Gödel, Escher, Bach by Douglas R. Hofstadter

Hanna’s first review of the year

it was amazing
A peculiar book that blends Philosophy, Mathematics, Language, Art and Music. The book almost reads like one long essay and displays the wealth of knowledge and passion Hofstadter possesses regarding the topics he writes about. He also finds and writes about strange connections between these seemingly unrelated worlds. A delicious read that expands the mind and broadens the horizon.

Hanna’s last review of the year

it was amazing
A cathartic read where each line rings true like an ancient philosophy. The book is an exploration of the world through the eyes of a visionary that sees beyond his time.
