it was amazing
When a young single mother is found murdered inside a magician's magic box detective Mina Dabirii is given the name of Mentalist Vincent Walder. Although his act now does not contain magic tricks as such he does have a background in such things. Mina suffers from extreme OCD/germaphobia & Vincent is on the autistic spectrum which made them an interesting pairing. Before long there are other deaths in other 'magical ' circumstances. it was ok
I have always been interested in the mystic Julian of Norwich . Her famous quote ,"All shall be well & all manner of things shall be well" has always been a favourite of mine. This along with the absolutely gorgeous cover drew me to this book. I don't know if it was just my frame of mind, but I really struggled to get into this.
