really liked it
It’s disheartening to realize the full extent of evil humans (even mothers) are capable of when overcome with sinful desires. The author captured the full story in a tasteful, respectful, well-written way, causing me to grieve for Karissa’s family and wondering how on earth Penny could hide the truth for so long.
