it was amazing
Very much enjoyed this novel. The story had a slowness that mirrored rural mountain life without getting bored. It provided a respite from my busy, noisy life. The story of sisters Sheila and Angie had me cringing at moments because it reminded me of growing up with my sister, but I couldn't put it down. Alering created a strangeness that was perfect for me. And, to top it off, her description of nature coaxed me into the story. It felt as if I w ...more
