This book came out around the same time as Trump's election, so the atmosphere of that period is also reflected in the content. A lot has happened since, making the book a little dated but a decent analysis of early social media and internet culture wars of the 2010s. ...more

The author does justice to the scope of the book, to the extent of introducing the reader to the ideas, the history, and various thought leaders with pointers for further exploration. Admittedly, every chapter felt like it was cut short and could have used a little more details but then the book would not be "a very short introduction". ...more
