O Come, O Come, Emmanuel by Jonathan Gibson

Joshua’s first review of the year

it was amazing
A wonderful grouping of liturgies and readings for the Christian year. O Come Emmanuel helped me remember the sacredness of the Christmas season.

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight by Simon Armitage

Joshua’s last review of the year

really liked it
Honestly, a really fantastic poem. I love the use of alliteration throughout and the rhyming lines that end each section. A great legend from the Arthurian tradition
