Mary Oliver would have loved this novel.
A remarkable multi-generational yarn tied together by a plot of land in Western Massachusetts and the people who lived there.
Every new chapter / narrative voice surprised me. The way Mason weaves this all together is masterful.
Just lovely.

It’s funny, it’s sad, it’s an exploration of things outside my world (a woman’s midlife crisis, perimenopause, the trauma of stillborn babies, tampons omg the tampon scene) and things I can relate to (redefining relationships, obsessions, starting over) overthinking, laughing through trauma) and, like all my favorite fictions: people I like making TERRIBLE decisions.
I will read it again.
