really liked it
Great insight into the history behind one of my favourite cities. Not only did it explore the events that shaped the city into what it is today but also discussed how it shaped the Dutch people. It helped me grasp the seemingly contradictory balance between liberalism and individualism in the Netherlands. a great source of facts when showing people around the city.

A collection of gripping mysteries. Each chapter is a new case, lending itself to light reading. Surprisingly, not all the cases were crime related which adds to the intrigue. Sherlock Holmes possesses a ferocious energy combined with acute observation and reasoning skills.
