did not like it
As a trans person with a trans spouse, I wanted to like this one, but I had to force myself through it. I enjoyed Emery most of the previous in the series, and looked forward to this one. Instead, it felt formulaic and forced.

Did the author even bother having trans people read for sensitivity? There are great books with trans representation out there, this is not one of them.
