I personally felt that this book could have been better. I think the author has a good writing technique but that she was unsure in how best to implement her ideas. I would have enjoyed the book better if it hadn’t been so focused on framing the finance to the reader. really liked it
I loved ACOTAR and Throne of Glass so much that the transition into this series took me a minute. The writing style felt very different and so the beginning of this book was an adjustment for me. Saying that, I devoured this book once I got myself over the change of it. I had this book glued to my hands for the entire length of time it took me to read because the story was that enticing.
