Wow. What a great book. I had two people tell me to read this book. I owe them both a huge thank you.

That quote from Ovid, deftly dropped into this book by its brilliant author, pretty much sums up the entire human condition, which is depicted through its characters. There is one guarantee in this life -- that anything Elif Shafak writes will be compelling and satisfying, especially the painful stuff. This book is no exception.
