A classic adventure about moving on from family legacies and creating your own. A hero’s journey I can relate to.
Reading this book reminds me of how large the world was compared to how it is now. Today I can communicate with any country from the comforts of my home, a few hundered years ago most countries were not reachable to communicate with. Loved it of course. King is an inspiration to me and so are his stories. The practice, innate talent, and passion for the art of storytelling are obvious. His brutal honesty about human nature is something I feel makes great stories.
