The style is good, but the story is a real sleeper--like reading someone's calendar. I did not finish the book, but rather moved on to Dear Man.
$30K for a hike... Really? I LIVE on less than that! And returning home to LA & BF every several weeks doesn't really constitute a hike! Right?

OMG! I'd give it 10 stars. Most of us have been camping, but to become one with the forest is very rare, especially to this degree.
