The Poisons We Drink by Bethany Baptiste

The Poisons we Drink has a captivating premise and a multifaceted and intriguing main character. This world where witches and politics intertwine is dangerous and hard to navigate for those who wish to be active players. I found the ending and some parts to be a little drawn out and felt the story could have been a little shorter.

Almost all of my quilts so far have been off of set patterns with none or hardly any improvisation included; the ones that incorporated a little improv were still with controlled methods, colors, pieces, etc. I think Young's words of encouragement came across well and will help sewers feel confi ...more
