I miss the DC Smith series but this is a pretty good continuation. Smith does make some appearances in the book and made me smile each time he did. He is one of a kind. I had the outcome figured early on but the mystery was to see how they would prove it. The story is told from various perspectives but the primary one was from Waters. Make sure you read Georgianna’s Secret before you read this book. It doesn’t say it is part of a series but you need that background for this book to make sense. I almost gave this two stars as I did not like May’s character. She was self righteous and judgmental, which was something of which she was always accusing others.
