it was amazing
I wasn't sure about the first two books of this series, because at times they were padded out with unnecessarily detailed descriptions of devices being built by Doc Brewster, the main protagonist, but the series gets better as it goes along. The third volume is definitely the best. The last two chapters contain some of the funniest stuff I've ever read � at times I really did have tears running down my cheeks. really liked it
This is an excellent sequel to The Boy from the Night Sky. The writing is as good as ever, and the story is exciting and involving. Jake is back again, and there are several new characters, some good, some bad, and one or two very bad! This was a real pleasure to read, and I'm now looking forward very much to the third book in the series. ...more
