it was amazing
Sproul skillfully explains and defends the reformed doctrine of predestination. The book is remarkably straightforward and clear for a topic that can be quite confusing and prone to misunderstanding. Sproul handles objections with the aplomb and charity of one who has discovered the firm foundation of Biblical truth in this matter but who remembers the struggles of getting there. really liked it
Long, but worth it. The best part is early on in the book when Augustine is showing the absurdities, immoralities, and inconsistencies of the Roman false gods and their myths. But the book is solid throughout, as towards the middle of the book, Augustine develops his theme of the dichotomy between the earthly city and the heavenly city.
